The Service of the Resurrection and the Paschal Divine Liturgy were solemnly celebrated in Lagos at the Cathedral of the Resurrection, the spiritual and administrative seat of the Holy Metropolis of Nigeria.
The sacred services were presided over by His Eminence Archbishop Nikodemus, Metropolitan of Nigeria, together with the presiding priest of the Cathedral, Fr. James.
Faithful from the Greek, Arab, and Russian communities of Lagos participated prayerfully in the celebration, alongside many local Orthodox Christians, united in the joy and hope of Christ’s Resurrection.
In his Paschal message, His Eminence prayed that the light of the Risen Christ may fill every heart with peace, hope, and spiritual strength.
